Classic Rampart Twin Diesel Gentlemans Motor Yacht.
The hull was traditionally built at Southampton in 1976 by British shipwrights using the best Burma Teak with copper and bronze fastenings on English Oak frames and keel.
This level of British craftsmanship built well founded yachts that will last several lifetimes continuing to give pleasure and usability down the generations.
The yacht design gives excellent seakeeping qualities with a spacious internal layout that has two 2 berth cabins each with its own facilities, as well as a large deck saloon with an internal steering position ideal for making those occasional night passages in comfort.
On the flybridge is the external steering position and a large seating / sunbathing area with a large teak table. The yacht has spacious deck areas with safe wide sidedecks for good access to the fore and aft decks for ease of mooring.
The twin diesel engines are Perkins 4.236 with low hours that start and run well, the gearboxes are Borg warner velvet Drives with 2 to 1 reduction driving through Stainless steel shafts with 3 bladed bronze propellors.
The majority of the renovation work required is to the marine plywood areas on the superstructure and deck.
